Let’s Make an Americana Mini Pallet Flag!

Materials

Mini Wood Pallet – Dollar Tree
MiniWax Dark Walnut Wood Stain
Chalk Paint – Lacquer (Red), Plaster (White) & Ocean (Blue)
Painter’s Tape
Sanding block
Raffia
Red, White & Blue Pip Berries
Small Metal Prim Star

Stain pallet with dark brown wood stain. Wipe off excess with a rag. Let dry.

Lay metal star on left side of pallet and mark.

Apply painter’s tape to pallet along markings.

Paint left side of pallet with blue chalk paint. Let dry.

Remove painter’s tape.Apply painter’s tape on the left side along markings.

Paint right side with while and red chalk paint alternating boards. Let dry.

Lightly distress the pallet using a sanding block.

Cut several strands of raffia and tie into a bow. Cut 2 branches pip berries to approximately 2” lengths.

Hot glue raffia bow, pip berries and star to the left side of pallet.

Display your new Americana Mini Pallet Flag and enjoy!
