  • 21 canning rings
  • Twine
  • Spray paint or Acrylic paint – dark orange
  • Clear acrylic coating spray finish
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4” ribbon
  • Raffia
  • Small sunflower
  • Hack Saw & safety glasses
  • Hot glue gun & Gorilla glue sticks

Steps

Canning Jar Ring Pumpkin

Using spray paint or acrylic paint and brush, paint each of the canning rings dark orange. You may need to do a few coats to get the desired color. Let dry.

Seal rings with clear acrylic coating spray finish. Let dry.

Arrange canning rings in a circular shape. Once you have 21 rings arranged in a circle, thread twine through the center.

Wrap twine through the center or the rings several time, pulling snug but don’t tie ends.

Insert cinnamon stick into the center of rings. Determine how tall you want the stem. Mark and cut cinnamon stick with a hack saw. Make sure to wear safety glasses to protect your eyes!

Insert the cut cinnamon stick back into the center and pull twine as snug as you can get it. Tie twine in a double knot and cut ends.

Hot glue cinnamon stick into the center.

Tie raffia and ribbon around stem and hot glue sunflower.
