Cottontail Farm Wreath
Spring is a season of joy and new beginnings, and there’s no better way to celebrate it than by adding some festive decor to your home. A beautiful Easter wreath is a perfect DIY project to add a touch of charm to your home this Easter. The Cottontail Farm Wreath is a delightful and easy-to-make wreath that will make your home look stunning.
Let’s make a Cottontail Farm Wreath
Materials
- 14″ metal wreath frame
- 6″ deco mesh – 2 rolls of 4 colors
- Small clips
- 4″ zip ties
- Round sign
- 2 Wood Beads
- Twine
- Glue gun & glue sticks
- Wood Burner
- Glass mat
Using the wood burner cut 8″ sections of each color of deco mesh for a total of 60 “bundles”.
Making Deco Bundles
- Choose two 8″ sections in two different colors.
- Stack the two sections.
- Scrunch the sections in the center and hold with a small clip.
- Take a 4″ zip tie and weave between metal bars on the wreath.
- Remove the clip from sections and attach to wreath using the zip tie. Cut the tail of zip tie.
- Repeat Steps 1 – 5 attaching sections to wreath alternating bars. There will be a total of 9 sections with 1 on the crossbar. Arrange bundles in a “zig-zag” pattern around the wreath.
Cut a piece of twine and thread one of the beads onto the twine. Tie a knot on one end.
Thread the twine through the holes in the sign. Thread the second bead and tie a knot.
Mark the back of the sign on both sides. Cut two lengths of twine and hot glue to back of sign at marked locations.
Attach the sign to the wreath by tying the twine to the center bars making sure the sign is centered on the front.
Cut a section of twine and tie ends together. Loop through the second bar of the wreath.
Hang & enjoy!!
