Supplies Needed

Paint metal planter with white chalk paint. Let dry.

Lightly sand over raised letters until visible.

Faux distress planter using light brown paint and a chip paint brush. Let dry.

Apply painters tape along the top and lower edge of the planter.

Paint the lip along the top and bottom of the planter with black chalk paint. Let dry.

Find the center of the upper edge of the 11.75 x 3 in. Plywood planks. Draw diagonal lines to create a point in the center. Cut along lines using a jig saw or miter saw.

Paint plywood planks with white chalk paint. Let dry.

Hot glue three planks together using the large Popsicle sticks creating a faux fence.

Hot glue 4 floral blocks to the bottom of the planter.

Cut the fifth floral block in half and shape to fill the curved ends of the planter.

Insert fence into the floral blocks. You might have to create a slit in the blocks to make easier.

Hot glue floral moss to the floral blocks in the front and back of fence.

Insert wood skewer into bottom of carrots.

Paint the carrot body light orange and the top light green. Use dark orange and dark green to shade carrot.

Hot glue chalkboard label to large Popsicle stick. Tie a bow in the ribbon. Glue ribbon and carrot onto chalkboard label.

Arrange floral picks, pinwheel, carrots, chalkboard sign and bunny butt in flower planter. Hot glue all of the arrangement items to make sure they stay in place.

  • Metal Flower Planter
  • Chalk Paint - White & Black
  • Foam Brushes
  • Acrylic Pain - Light tan, light orange, dark orange, light green & dark green
  • Chip Paint Brush

  • 3 - 11.75 x 3 in. Plywood Planks
  • 5 - Gentle Grip Green Foam Floral Blocks
  • Large Popsicle sticks
  • 3 Fake carrots & wooden skewers
  • Floral picks & floral grass
  • Fake eggs
  • Chalkboard Label
  • 1/2" Ribbon
  • Bunny Butt
  • Ribbon
  • Small wooden carrot
  • Small pinwheel
