DIY Dollar Tree Mini-Pallet Pumpkins Tabletop Décor

Fall is upon us, and it’s time to start thinking about how to decorate your home for the season. If you’re looking for a fun and easy DIY project that won’t break the bank, try making your own Dollar Tree Mini-Pallet Pumpkins Tabletop Décor. This project is perfect for beginners and can be completed in just a few easy steps.

Let’s Do This!

Supplies

  • 3 small pallets from Dollar Tree
  • Chalk Paint – Orange, Sand, Turquoise, Medium Brown, Dark Brown and White
  • Sponge Paint Brushes
  • Wood Craft (Doll) Pins
  • Large Craft Stick
  • Burgundy, gold and green silk leaves
  • 1/4″ ribbon
  • Crafter’s Square Wood Block, 2x 8 in.
  • Crafter’s Square Wood Plank, 2×12 in.
  • Black Permanent Vinyl
  • Cricut Maker or Explore, Design Space and Cricut Accessories
  • Heavy Duty Cutter
  • Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
  • Heat Gun (Optional)

Steps

Pumpkins Please

Paint mini pallets with orange, sand and turquoise with a sponge brush. Let dry or dry with a head gun.

Distress edges of the mini pallets with dark brown chalk paint using a foam brush. Smudge with a paper towel.

Cut large craft

stick into 3 – 1 1/2″ pieces.

Hot glue craft stick pieces to the back of the mini pallets. Let set.

Mark wood craft pins so one side is shorter than the other. Cut with hack saw. Make sure you wear your safety glasses when using a hack saw.

Paint wood craft pins medium brown. Let dry. Hot glue pins to mini pallets with longer segment again craft stick and show side sitting on cross beam.

Hot glue leaf of each color to pallets and tie ribbon around stem.

Stack pallets and hot glue together making sure the two front pallets bottoms are even.

Paint 2 x 8 block dark brown. Let dry or dry with heat gun.

Hot glue pumpkins to 2 x 8 block. The back pumpkin sitting on top of block and turquoise and orange glued to the front of block.

Paint 2 x 12 plank white. Let dry.

Cut “Pumpkin Please” from black permanent vinyl using the Cricut Maker. Adhere to the front of the white plank.

Distress edges of sign with dark brown chalk paint. Smudge with paper towel.

Hot glue sign to front of pumpkins.
