Supplies –
- 14″ round wood sign
- Bunny Wood Cutout
- Acrylic Paint – Dark Brown & Tan
- Chalk Paint – Waverly White, Sandstone & Moss
- Foam Paint Brushes
- Painter’s Tape
- Cricut Explore or Maker
- Cricut Design Space & Phrase

- Basic Die Cutting Accessories
- Miniwax Polycrylic Clear Matt Topcoat
- Hot Glue Gun & Glue
- 1 1/2″ Burlap Wire Ribbon
- 1″ Pink Plaid Wire Ribbon

Divide round wood circle with painter’s tape. Paint bottom with dark brown acrylic paint. Let dry.
While the brown paint is drying, design your phrase. After I created my Hippity Hop phrase, I printed it out to make sure it fit.
After cutting your design out, weed and transfer the phrase to wood sign. Smooth vinyl down and make sure there are no bubbles.
Paint the lower part of the sign with Waverly Moss Green Chalk paint.
Let it completely dry.
While the sign drys, paint the wood bunny cutout with Waverly Sandstone Chalk Paint. Let dry.
Carefully remove the vinyl from the wood sign.
Move painter’s tape down so the upper edge lines up with the green “line” across the sign. Paint the upper part of the sign with Waverly White chalk paint. Let dry.
Remove painter’s tape.
Distress the edges of the sign with Tan Acrylic paint using the dry brush technique. Make light marks along the front of the sign for additional distressing.
Seal your sign with Miniwax Polycrylic Clear Matt Topcoat. Let dry.
While topcoat is drying, distress edges of bunny cutout with Waverly White chalk paint. Let dry.
Cut a length of jute twine, fold in half and knot together. Hot glue loop to sign.
Hot glue flower to the bunny cutout.
Cut approximate 18″ of burlap ribbon. Fold ends over each other and gather in the center. Pinch center and hold with a clip. Follow same process with the pink plaid ribbon. Lay pink bow on top of burlap bow, wrap twin around the center and tie in the back.
Then hot glue bunny cutout in the center of the white section of the sign.
Hot glue bow to top of the sign.
Hang your Hippity Hop Round Wood sign & enjoy!
