Supplies

  • Wood Board of desired size
  • Acrylic Paint – Dark brown
  • Foam Brush and Chip Paint Brush
  • Cricut Design Space, Cricut and Accessories
  • Scrap Vinyl & Transfer Material
  • Chalk Paint – White
  • Varnish or Mod Podge
  • Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
  • Bunny Head Plaque
  • 2 Decorative Carrots
  • Picture Hanging Hardware

Steps

Paint board with dark brown paint. Let dry.

Print the “Hop On In” phrase using Cricut Design Space. Print using the Print then Cut option to make sure the design is the size you want. Cut phrase out of vinyl. Weed design.

Decide where on the sign you would like the design to be and press on.

Carefully remove transfer material and smooth design on the board.

Paint the whole board with white chalk paint, painting over the vinyl phrase. Let dry.

Gently weed vinyl phrase off the board leaving a reverse stencil look.

Faux distress edges of sign using the dark brown acrylic paint and a chip paint brush. Let dry.

Seal sign with varnish or mod podge. Let dry.

Attach picture hanger hardware to back of sign.

Hot glue bunny head plaque and carrots on sign.

Hang and enjoy!
