Instant Pot to the Rescue! Hawaiian Chicken!

Ingredients
- 1 pd boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (20 ounce) can chunk pineapple – can use sliced pineapple cut up into chuncks
- 1 18-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
Add chicken, pineapple (with juice) and barbecue sauce to the Instant Pot.
Stir to combine.
Close lid and set pressure release to Sealing.
Press Manual or Pressure Cook button and adjust time to 15 minutes.
When the timer beeps, allow pressure to release naturally. Unlock lid and remove it.
Serve!
Tips and Variations
- You can also add some sliced red bell peppers and onions to the pot along with the chicken for some added color and flavor.
- If you prefer a spicier dish, you can add some red pepper flakes or sriracha sauce to the sauce.
- For a healthier option, you can use chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts.
- You can also use fresh pineapple instead of canned pineapple. Just make sure to chop it into small pieces before adding it to the Instant Pot.
