Life Through My Lens 365 – 2026 – A Fresh Start for the New Year
Capture, Create, and Explore Your World
Hey friend! I’m so happy you’re here. Grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and let me share a little idea that’s been brewing for January 1st. It’s called Life Through My Lens 365 – 2026, and it’s all about slowing down and finding beauty in the everyday—one photo at a time.

What’s Life Through My Lens 365 – 2026?

Starting January 1st, I’ll be taking one photo a day for a year. Yep, 365 snapshots of life as I see it—through my eyes, my heart, and my camera lens. It could be a quiet sunrise, a messy kitchen, a wildflower on the roadside, or a moment that made me laugh until my cheeks hurt. Big or small, polished or imperfect—it all counts. Because life isn’t staged, and that’s what makes it beautiful.
To keep the inspiration flowing, I’ve created a January Prompt Sheet and Inspiration Guide. Think of them as gentle nudges, not strict rules.

Here are a few examples:
- January 1 – Celebrate: Kick off the year with joy! Capture a moment of celebration—big or small.
- January 2 – One Little Word: Choose a word that inspires your year ahead and show us what it looks like in your world.
- January 3 – Reflect: Pause and capture something that invites contemplation.
No Hard Rules—Make It Yours!

If a prompt sparks an idea—great! If not, skip it. This is about creativity, not pressure. If you miss a day, no big deal! You can skip it or catch up later. There are no hard rules here. Feel free to skip a prompt, change a prompt, or even combine multiple prompts in one day. Make Life Through My Lens 365 – 2026 your own. Shape it to fit what you want to accomplish and what feels right for you.
Why Am I Doing This?
Because life moves fast—too fast sometimes. I want to hit pause for just a moment each day. This project is my way of being present, noticing the little things, and stretching my creative muscles. And maybe, just maybe, connecting with others who find magic in the ordinary.

Accountability Matters

Let’s be real—committing to something daily isn’t easy. That’s why I’m sharing this with you. If I miss a day, I’ll own it. If my photo is blurry because life got hectic, that’s part of the story too. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up.
Life’s a Snapshot
At the end of the day, life isn’t always picture-perfect. But it’s worth capturing. Muddy boots by the door, golden hour glow on the porch—there’s beauty in the ordinary.

- Keep it simple: Your phone camera is perfect.
- Pick a time: Morning light? Evening glow? Find what works for you.
- Embrace imperfection: Some days will be messy—and that’s okay.
- Share if you want: Posting online can keep you motivated.
- Reflect often: Look back at your photos and celebrate your progress.

What I Hope to Learn

Honestly? I’m not sure yet. But I have a feeling this year will teach me patience, gratitude, and how to find beauty in unexpected places. Even on the hardest days, there’s something worth noticing.
So, what do you say? Grab your camera (or phone), start looking around, and take that first photo on January 1st. Share it or keep it just for yourself—either way, you’re part of something special.
Here’s to a year of snapshots, beauty, and living fully. Cheers to slowing down and seeing more. I can’t wait to see what you capture!
