Pie Bombs: A Bite-Sized Treat

Ingredients –

  • 1 can (8-count) Pillsbury Grand biscuits, not flaky layers
  • 1 cup pie filling
  • 1/4 cup ( 1/2 stick) butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Steps –

Remove the biscuits from the can and separate each biscuit into two layers. Using a rolling pin, roll each layer of biscuit into 4-inch circle. Total of 16 circles.

Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pie filling into the center of each circle. Don’t over fill.

Use your fingers to pull sides together and pinch to seal. Roll into balls.

Bush all sides of the bombs with the melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Working in batches, place the bombs into an air fryer basket about 2 inches apart.

I use disposable basket liners for easy clean up.

Air fry at 330°F for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

  • 1 cup pie filling - flavor of your choice
  • 1/4 cup ( 1/2 stick) butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

  6. Air fry at 330°F for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

To make rolling out the biscuits lightly spray the rolling pin with olive oil spray.

Don't use too much filling or the biscuits won't pinch together without filling squeezing out.

Serve with ice cream for a special treat.
