How to Make Your Pumpkin Spice Season Round Sign

Use your heat gun to carefully separate the layers of the to-go cup wood cutout. Then sand it lightly to smooth any rough edges.
Preparing the Round Sign
Apply Waverly Chalk Paint in Plaster to the 18″ wood round. Allow it to dry completely.

Once dry, apply a coat of Polycrylic Finish – Clear Satin to the round sign to seal it.
Pumpkin Cup Prep
If there’s a hole at the top of your to-go cup, simply fill it with wood filler, allow it to dry completely, then sand it until smooth.

For the cup portion, blend some Agave into Pool chalk paint to match the cute pumpkin paper. Apply it evenly and allow it to dry completely.
Paint the cup lid with Plaster chalk paint and allow it to dry completely.

Apply a coat of Polycrylic Finish to both the cup and lid to protect them.
Pumpkin Label
Apply a thin, even coat of Modge Podge Matte to the cup label area and allow it to dry completely.

Cut a piece of the adorable pumpkin paper slightly larger than the label area. Then use the heat method to adhere it to the label section.

Use your craft knife to carefully trim away the excess paper around the pumpkin. Then sand the edges to create a smooth, polished finish.

Apply a light spray of Modge Podge. Once dry, use your mini heat press to smooth out any remaining wrinkles.
Putting It All Together!
Now it’s time to attach the lid to the cup. Use wood glue for a permanent bond, but add a few dabs of hot glue to hold everything in place while you secure it with clamps.

Distress the round sign and cup with Truffle chalk paint to add character and dimension. Allow it to dry completely.
Securely attach the coffee cup to your sign using wood glue.

Use your Cricut Maker to cut out “Pumpkin Spice Season” in Design Space.
Use your laser level to determine the ideal placement for your lettering.
Putting On the Finishing Touches!
For a cute finishing touch, cut a piece of wire, thread 6 wood beads onto it, and twist the ends (leave about an inch before the first twist). Attach this to the back of your sign with wood glue. Add fabric strips and the wooden maple leaf to create extra fall vibes!

Once your Pumpkin Spice Season Round Sign is complete, hang it on your front door, in the kitchen, or anywhere that could use a splash of autumnal cheer. This project not only fills your space with cozy vibes, but also allows you to bask in the satisfaction of making something beautiful with your own hands.
