McCall’s 7626 pattern is amazing! It’s so versatile and gives you the chance to create a stylish and comfortable dress, jumpsuit, or romper that can be worn for any occasion.

McCall’s 7626 pattern boasts a versatile style that is both elegant and casual, ideal for any occasion. The pattern features a close fitted, partially lined bodice with wide straps, and provides a choice of two different lengths for the dress, as well as a romper and a jumpsuit variation. These options can be sewn in a variety of fabrics including gabardine, cotton blends, denim, and wool blends, making it suitable for year-round wear. I can even envision this pattern made from luxurious fine wale corduroy or velveteen fabric, adding a touch of sophistication to your wardrobe.
Both Options A and D feature attached straps, while Options B and C have slide buckle adjustable straps. Of course, you have the freedom to customize and change the strap style for any of the versions, depending on the look you are aiming for. Option A also includes a self belt that can be added to any of the styles.
This pattern is ideal for those who want to craft a one-of-a-kind outfit that fits them like a glove. An excellent way to showcase your creativity is to add a front bodice pocket in a contrasting fabric or with embroidery. For added stunning detail, consider adding embroidery to the back pockets. Comfortable Fit
The close-fitted and partially lined bodice provides two different strap styles to choose from. The bodice on all versions is lined to help give structure and prevent seams from rubbing. The wide straps allow you to wear these styles with or without a shirt. For ease of wear, all options have an invisible zipper at the back and a hook & eye closure. All styles have nice, deep front pockets. The semi-fitted shorts and pants of the romper and jumpsuit styles come with back pockets. And yes, my iPhone 8 Plus fits perfectly! The adjustable strap option ensures ample room to move in the bottom half of the outfit while the comfortable width of the legs flatters all body types.
