Whimsical Fall Mini Pumpkins
Celebrate Autumn with Handmade Charm
There’s something magical about the arrival of fall—when the crisp air and golden light invite creativity and warmth into our homes. This season, why not welcome autumn with these delightful Fall Mini Pumpkins that captures its rustic spirit?
These enchanting Fall Mini Pumpkins is a project that brings together the colors, textures, and symbols of the season in a charming display. Whether you’re gathering friends for a cozy afternoon of crafting or looking for a fun weekend project with the kids, these miniature wood pumpkins are sure to add festive cheer to your décor.

Let’s Do This!
Supplies –
- 4 – 2″ unfinished wood dice (I got mine from Hobby Lobby)
- 4 – 1 11/16” unfinished wood people (Another Hobby Lobby find)
- 1 1/8″ unfinished wood letters – F, A, L, L (Michaels)
- Waverly chalk paint – Truffle, Agave, Pumpkin, Celery, Plaster, Ink, Wax – Antique
- Wet wipes
- Wood Plank – cut to 3″ x 11”
- Painters Tape
- Foam Brushes
- Hot glue gun & Glue Sticks
- Raffia
- Small flowers
Steps
Paint wood dice with Plaster, Celery, Pumpkin & Agave. Allow dry.
Paint wood people with Truffle. Allow dry.
Wipe Antique Wax on plank using wet wipe. Allow to dry.

Distress pumpkins with Antique wax using a dry paper towel. Let dry.

Paint letters with Ink. I find it’s easier to lay the letters on painters tape. Make sure paint edges. Let dry.
Hot glue Letters to one side of pumpkins. Let cool.


Measure 1″ from edge and glue the “F” pumpkin to center of plank
Measure 1″ from other edge and glue the “L” pumpkin to center of plank.
Center the “A” and “L” pumpkins in between.
Glue wood doll people to center top of pumpkins. Let cool.


Hot glue Spanish Moss around pumpkin stems.
Tie small bows using raffia and glue to pumpkin stems
Hot glue small flowers to stems of remaining pumpkins.
Enjoy your new Fall decoration!
