Project Life March 2026: Fresh Starts & Little Joys

Project Life March 2026: Fresh Starts & Little Joys

Project Life March 2026 is filled with a mix of cozy moments, creative sparks, and those little everyday stories that make life so meaningful. This month felt like a gentle transition—winter slowly giving way to spring, with just enough warmth, color, and inspiration sneaking in to remind me that brighter days are ahead.

Project Life March 2026 continues in my 9×12 pocket pages and album from Scrapbook.com—they’re the perfect home for these stories. For supplies, I leaned hard into Ali Edwards’ Story by the Month – March 2026 kit, Quarterly Kits, plus some favorites from past kits. Everything mixed together so effortlessly. And of course, I brought in Becky Higgins Project Life cards for fillers and made a few custom cards of my own—because sometimes you just need those extra creative touches!

I also had fun pulling out my stamps to create embellishments and build completely custom Project Life cards, using favorites like Book Log, Watch List, and Journal Grid from Studio Calico to add those extra little details that make everything feel so me.

New to Project Life? Let’s Dive In!

If you’re curious about Project Life or just want a deeper look at how it all comes together, I’ve shared more about my approach in another post on the blog—“Capturing Life Through Photos with Project Life.” It’s a great place to start (or get re-inspired!) if you’re thinking about documenting your everyday life in a simple, meaningful way.

Welcoming March: A Season of Possibility

March 2026

The beginning of March in my album feels like opening a brand new chapter full of promise. It all starts with my title card and a heartfelt “This is Us” card featuring photos of me, Tigger, and Litten—such a simple way to ground the month in what matters most. I also included the front of my house and my March Activity Challenge to set the tone.

An “Around Here” snapshot of my neighborhood captures the season perfectly. I completely forgot to take my “Where I Stand” photo this month, so I swapped in this adorable Dr. Seuss display with his “Why Fit In” quote—one of my all-time favorites. Add in my monthly selfie and a quick weather check, and just like that, March starts falling into place.

Weekend Fun & Signs of Spring

Toni, my best friend since high school came up for the weekend, and we had the best girls’ getaway—Duck Donuts and binge-watching Season 4 of Bridgerton! Meanwhile, spring started making its appearance with bursts of color from blooming daffodils. Warmer temps meant more time outside, and Litten, Tigger, and I soaked up every bit of sunshine we could.

Projects, Photography & Everyday Stories

Of course, with warmer weather comes the growing list of yard projects. I used my favorite ongoing project—A Year With My Camera – 1 Day 12 Pics—to document the spaces that need a little (or a lot) love. I adore how this challenge captures a full day in such a storytelling way.

Kitchen Wins & New Tools

March 2026

March brought something super exciting—I got the Suvie Robot Kitchen 3.0+ (thank you, Brian!). I couldn’t wait to try it out, and my first meal—a Classic BBQ Pulled Pork plate—was absolutely delicious.

I also found myself back in the kitchen more in March trying new recipes with the adorable Crofton Mini Casserole set I picked up at Aldi. These little dishes are perfect for one or two servings and make cooking feel extra fun.

One of my favorite things about March is all the flowers that bloom—the pops of color after a long gray winter just make my heart happy.

Spring Projects & Cozy Companions

While I tackled outdoor projects, Tigger and Litten stayed cozy inside—not even interested in “supervising”! But Tigger did join me on a quick outing to track down the Apple Blossom LOVEworks sign.

Little Adventures & Creative Growth

March 2026

Even though adventures were minimal, Tigger and I managed a quick hike at Lake Frederick. March weather really keeps you guessing—one day you’re outside soaking it all in, and the next you’re back inside cooking. Thankfully, I love both.

March also marked a big milestone—I taught my first embroidery class at Samuel Public Library and had such a great time! And after many, many years, I finally upgraded my phone from an iPhone 8+ to a 16+… all I can say is WOW.

I’m also diving into my third sewing project for my 52 Week Sewing Challenge—a fleece jacket that’s been waiting patiently on my list.

Ending March with a Twist

March closed out with a little chaos when Tigger caught his nail and needed a quick trip to the vet for minor surgery. Thankfully, a pup cup from the custard place helped make everything better.

I also continued using the page planning process I learned from Ali Edwards’ Prep, Plan & Play class. Linda is an amazing teacher, and those tips continue to help my process flow so smoothly.

Little Moments, Big Stories

Project Life March 2026 was the perfect mix of cozy, creative, and just a little chaotic—in the best way. From quiet days at home to small adventures and meaningful milestones, it’s these everyday moments that truly tell the story of my life. Looking back through these pages reminds me how much beauty there is in simply paying attention and documenting it all.
